We welcome you to join MAPPAC as a registered member. As a member, you will be periodically updated on MAPPAC activities and opportunities to contribute towards paediatric palliative care.

MAPPAC has Four Main Pillars:
a) Advocacy
to increase public awareness on the importance of good symptom care, parental supports and end of life care for the children.

b) Training and Education
to provide the framework for paediatric palliative training and education programmes, design the content of the training programme and supervision of the training, as well as draft and advocate the policy, formulary and clinical guideline writing based on the needs of the society.

c) Clinical Services
to develop a role model of evidence-based paediatric palliative care (PPC) clinical service team. This will serve to encourage development of similar services in Malaysia. MAPPAC will also work towards equipment support for community PPC.

d) Research and Audit
to promote research for new knowledge regarding PPC in the local setting and to promote quality assurance for clinical services for care of children with life-limiting disease.
Your membership in MAPPAC is appreciated and we welcome suggestions on how we can work with you to develop paediatric palliative care in your locality.

Once the committee as approved your membership, you will be informed regarding payment of membership fees as follows:

Registration fee RM30 (one-off payment)
Annual membership fee RM60 (annual payment due on 1 Jan every year)
Life membership fee RM500 (one-off payment)
