MAPPAC collaborated with the Ministry of Health Malaysia to train healthcare professionals about palliative care for children. MAPPAC sponsored printed copies of the Handbook of Children’s Palliative Care Malaysia as reference for healthcare professionals. 

MAPPAC members also supported the National Training Programme for Paediatric Palliative Providers which were held in various hospitals. This programme aimed to equip doctors, assistant medical officers and nurses with basic knowledge on paediatric palliative care.
