Malaysian Children’s Hospices (MCH)
MAPPAC has established the first Malaysian Children's Hospices and continues to expand the network to provide multidisciplinary care and support for children living with life-limiting and their families across Malaysia.
Services Provided by MCH
Clinical Services
Regular home visits, telephone support, and the loan of medical equipment to families in need.
Caregiver Training
Education and guidance for caregivers on home care techniques and symptom management.
Psychosocial Support
Counselling, music therapy, play therapy, and other support services for children and their families.
Occupational and Physiotherapy Support
Home-based occupational therapy and physiotherapy to support rehabilitation.
Relief for caregivers
Temporary relief for caregivers, allowing them time to rest and recharge while ensuring their child continues to receive appropriate care.
All services are provided free of charge to patients and their families. Medical equipment is available on loan with a minimal refundable security deposit.
