(4) Advocacy for PPC

Advocacy for children’s palliative care means helping to raise public awareness about what is children’s palliative care and to help them understand why it is important.

MAPPAC set up booths in various events such as during the World Hospice and Palliative Care Day celebrations at Hospital Rembau on 1st October 2022.

MAPPAC also organized a workshop for volunteers to make bears on 20th August 2022. Subsequently handmade bears were put up for adoption to fundraise for MAPPAC educational and clinical activities, while promoting children’s palliative care at the same time.
